Who We Are
The Children of the Sun Literacy Series was borne out of the need for an increased focus on Literacy and educating children about the rich history of the peoples of the African Diaspora. We are an international reading and book festival created to inspire all children to fall in love with reading.
We, the Collective, are dedicated to advancing our mission of inspiring children to read. We provide families with books and resources, regardless of a child's reading level, through fun, cultural, and art-based literacy-centered programming. Our goal is to make learning exciting.
